Have a question about this project?
I just bought a shelf unit with extra shelves. I couldn't get the website to open. How is it attached to the wall?
@Penny Looks like the ends are caps, so I am assuming that it is the cap that is screwed into the wall and then the pvc is put into the cap and the rest just assembled on the wall.

I have tried a hundred different places to purchase a few of those grids. PLEASE, where did you get yours? One place I did find required buying a large quantity of them.
They look to me to be converted from wire shelving systems from store like target
I found some at a thrift store. . . you just have to keep looking.
They look like cooling racks to me, the kind used in baking because of the finished edges.
They look like the racks made to hold craft paint that come on a spindle...every craft store has them. I'd thought of hanging the racks on picture hooks but that wouldn't leave any space for the bottles to go through...the pipes will leave that space.
A google search for "wire grid" and "cube" or "panel" turned up lots of affordable options for buying these. They were sold recently as cube storage units so they can sometimes be found at thrift stores and yard sales. They are also used in store displays.

amazon.com quick shipment
Find some of the locker shelves from walmart! They work great!
how do u put the legs on the racks?
I'm only going by the photo but I think if you drilled a small hole in the pvc end cap you could easily use a screw through it. I wouldn't use pvc cement on that end though but a different type of adhesive. Let me know if you already found a solution or if this one worked. Good luck!
This is a brilliant idea!! I saw it on another site and a lot of people-including myself- were asking where to find the materials and instructions? THANKS!
My best guess from looking at the photos is that the grids are from the cube shelving units she is using elsewhere in her craft room. The posts look like pvc pipe with a cap on the end. My best guess again, is that she may have used a slightly bigger piece of pvc pipe around a small pipe to use as spacers between the wall and 2 of the grid panels.
Here is the CORRECT link to the project: http://madincrafts.com/craft-room-organizatio... (Yes I know, not a question)
Thank you!!!
Does chicken wire work?
I don't think it's the right spacing for these bottles.
where can you purchase these wire units?
Can you share with us where you can purchase the wire grid units? Thanks!
These look like the wire cube storage racks to me. I got some from Bed, Bath & Beyond. I would look at second hand stores, because they run about $25.00
What are they called? I need some!!
They are Wire grids. They are made from wire and coated similar to the cubbies you find in some big box stores but these are small--not cubes.
Yes please tell us where you got your wire racks?
Are they the mini grid 14x14?
Not at all, you can hang them level to make a square if you like that better. Remember, diy-ers do things to suit their own wishes. :)
What are the corners spacers?
How did you make the spacers?
Their not spacers, it's actually grooves cut into the PVC pipe. Of you go to her blog, it's detailed very well.
where is her blog
How do I find the blog?
The link to her blog is directly above the words; Do you have a question about this project.

what are the instructions for this project
I don’t have the time to sift through someone’s blog with all the ads and navigating. Why don’t you post the instructions on Hometalk for everyone? Quick and easy reading is why I come on this site.
