Halloween Centerpiece “Jersey Girl Knows Best”
Do you have a few pool noodles laying around?! Me too! I turned these unused items into a spooky Halloween Centerpiece! Ready?! Let’s do this!
I had a few of these pool noodles left over from summer and we barely used them so I decided to make a spooky Halloween decoration instead!
DIY Pool Noodle Halloween Decor
I cut them in various sizes. I used a little more than two pool noodles to create this large centerpiece. You could use more or less depending upon the look you are going for.
I used rubber bands to help me with the look before I hot glued them together.
I used two lines of hot glue to get a more secure hold. I also used the rubber bands to hold the pool noodles together while the hot glue dried.
Here I made drips of glue to look like dripping wax.
I used a tea light as a template and a sharpie ti draw it.
I used a sharp pointy knife to cut down about 1/2 an inch down along the template.
I also cut along in the inside, but be careful.
I remove the cut foam and glued the piece down into the hole for less waste. The tea light fits perfectly! I am not lighting these tea lights, but if you want more lighting I suggest finding black LED tea lights that are battery operated.
Here is the sprayed pool noodles. I sprayed them twice. They are looking pretty spooky! 💀
The faux candles look great by themselves, but I added in some dark red roses with black leaves, black skulls and some other spooky greenery. I hope your candles came out awesome and you have a wonderful Halloween! 🥀 💀
