Make a snowman or snow people ornaments using ball ornaments and supplies you probably already have on hand!

This cute ornament is easy to make and a great craft for teens and adults. Make a few for yourself and some to give as gifts this holiday season!

Most of the supplies I used came from Dollar Tree except the faux snow which I found at Walmart. If you have kids or pets, I also recommend using plastic (shatter-proof) ornaments.

To make one, start by painting an ornament ball with white acrylic paint to make the head.

Coat your ornament completely with paint or tap the paint on lightly like I did to let some of the original ornament color show through.

Once the paint layer is dry, I recommend painting a layer of Mod Podge over top to seal and prevent the paint from scratching off.

Next, remove the top from a clear ball ornament and fill it with faux snow. You could also use confetti, glitter, tinsel, or anything you think would look festive! Then add hot glue to the top to glue both ornament balls together.

Add finishing touches and decorations. I used permanent markers in black and orange to make a face, a chenille stem and pom-poms for ear muffs, and black buttons to the front. For more details on this project, visit Craftidly.com.
