I used some felt gingerbread people to decorate my kitchen cabinets for Christmas! It was very easy to do, and gives such a big impact!

Here are my plain gray cabinet doors in my kitchen.

I had found these cute felt gingerbread people at a yardsale. There were two boys and two girls. You can make your own gingerbread people, or buy some online.

They were so cheerful and cute!

I used a wide wired ribbon to attach them to my cupboard doors in my kitchen.

First, I measured the ribbon long enough to overlap at the bottom and the top of the cabinet door.

Then I used masking tape to secure the ribbon at the back of the top of the door.

Next, I used a safety pin to secure the felt gingerbread person to the ribbon, pinning through only the back layer of felt so that the pin does not show through on the front side.

Lastly, I used masking tape to secure the ribbon to the bottom of the back of the door.

Repeat for as many doors as you wish!

I staggered my gingerbread people at different heights on the ribbon.

My gingerbread people make me smile so much! I hope my idea has inspired you!
