Easter is right around the corner and we love getting a little crafty every year when we create Easter eggs. We thought it would be fun to design eggs based on one of our favorite things...emojis! We just can't get enough of these hilarious little icons, and figured they deserved their own Easter egg display!

The best part about this project is you don't need any artistic ability to create these bad boys. If we can do it, you can too!

For the full step-by-step tutorial, check out this blog post.
First, grab your supplies. You'll want some acrylic paint, a paint brush, and black and red paint markers.
Next, paint all of your eggs yellow and let them dry overnight.
Choose some of your favorite emojis and recreate the on your yellow egg. We suggest starting with the black and red paint markers first, and then finishing off with the other colors of paint.
After about 10 minutes of doodling, we had all of these adorable little emoji eggs that had us laughing way too hard!

We are not skilled artists (not even close!) so these are far from perfect. But the imperfections actually made them more charming and a lot more fun to tackle. Trust us, if ours turned out looking somewhat like emojis, we know that you can totally do this too.
