I've had this old bench for years. I picked it up somewhere along the way. It's come in handy a few times, but mostly I kept it for no reason at all. But I'm glad I did! I recently redecorated my daughters room in a DIVA theme. She needed a new seat for her desk. This was the perfect match!
The before picture. Bleh. In serious need of an update!
Took the top off and primed the base with Sherwin Williams All Purpose Bonding Primer. I already had the Primer in the garage.
This is an old scarf/body wrap/Halloween prop that I've had for years!!! Purchased at a flea market years ago for a throw. Well now it has a new purpose :)
I covered the seat in material. And I attached it using a staple gun. Simple enough!
The top after being covered. Looks like it was meant to be.
The finished product.
I used hot pink paint I already had out in the garage from a previous project.
My daughter loves it!!!! It is a great addition to her new and improved room!

Hey, cute! I like how you used fabric you already had. A DIVA room sounds cool too!

Thank you! I posted her entire bedroom. It's titled DIVE TWEEN BEDROOM if you want to see all of it!
