I wanted to upgrade a plain planter into something colourful so I decided to use the opportunity to experiment with and practice my unicorn spit techniques. This is a fun and easy one!

Plain planter

Here's what it looked like when I started. Begin by turning the planter upside down and begin to dribble the paint slowly onto base edge.

Squirt unicorn spit slowly on edge

If it doesnt reach the bottom, I add just a bit more paint to help it along.

Adding unicorn spit dribbles

I then started a pattern of different colors, leaving a small gap between each stripe. It's random, but I love having it take it's own route.

When I finished adding paint dribbles, I left it to dry fully.

Leave to dry on pens

I placed two pens under the bottom rim, so the paint fully dribbles down, and doesnt get stuck on any surface. I love how it turned out!! 😀
