Fence Made From Pine Tree.
by

(IC: homeowner)
A few years ago our neighbors big pine tree was struck by lightning and she had it cut down this spring. We bought our house almost 3yrs. ago and always wanted to put A fence in the front . One reason is to divide the parking from the house to the road, and 2, is because it is to keep the cars from driving over our drain field (again) ,that is in the front yard and it was pretty expensive to replace.
My hubby saw the the pieces of the tree by the road to be hauled off,, so he rolled them home and started to put our fence together and we love the way it turned out!
We know sooner or later the bark is going to come off but is there someway we can delay it happening? Thank you all and hope you enjoy the pics. ps. He drilled holes in them to fit the landscaping timbers that were water sealed along with the pieces of the trunk of tree.

Susan Glenn on Aug 30, 2015Another reason to take it off is bugs...they're either already there or will be soon and can cause your wood to rot and ruin all your hard work.

I love the fence and also the look of the mulch to finish off the front, great looking with a "comfy but groomed" look
