A summers worth of wine corks is exactly what's needed for this project!
I've seen this done by others and finally decided to do it and it only took me 20 minutes it was just THAT easy!
Drink wine and save corks. Pretty simple!
You'll need a glue gun, orange and green paint, and cosmetic sponges to dab the paint on. Newspaper for your work space.
Use the glue gun to connect the corks side by side. I did 5 rows but yours might be more depending on how many corks you have.
Then stack and glue gun those rows of corks on top of each other.
The pumpkin will not exactly be round but close enough. Mine had 2 rows of five, 2 rows of six, and 1 row of 7 corks.
Use the sponge to dab the fronts orange. I suppose you could paint the back, the sides, etc but I love that it's recognizably wine corks.
Paint one cork green.
I took a piece of wire and shaped it like a corkscrew (wound it around a pencil) and glued it on with the green cork to the top of the orange stack.
And here it is- done! It was soooo easy to assemble this pumpkin! The hardest part was drinking all that wine hahahahaha, not really!

I had seen this on Pinterest and had the corks so I glued it with my glue gun. I had trouble keeping the rows attached and so I went to the best all around glue, E6000. They stay if you place one row in the divets of the row beneath. Also put down a piece of aluminum foil to work on top of to catch any drips.
