When I saw some wide strip curtains at Crate & Barrel I was so inspired to make my own for 1/2 the cost. I used grommet tape, which made my project really easy. If you haven't heard of grommet tape, wait till you see how easy it makes the spacing. And the rings I used just snapped on. So no fancy tools necessary.
